I’m Simone, an award-winning marketing maven, entrepreneur and certified #WifeMomBoss empowering extraordinary women just like you to discover balance, joy and everyday inspiration amidst your world of endless busyness.  

When I’m not giving life and my signature swag to client projects at my integrated marketing agency, True, you can find me volunteering in my community, in the kitchen whipping up something sweet or curled up watching a classic movie. 

As you can see, I’m driven by living full of purpose and passion and I bet you are too! But thankfully, I do it without the necessity of perfection because who even has time for that, right? I think we can all admit that we’ve been there only to realize that perfection is a figment of our imaginations—and quite honestly, unattainable.  

I have the pleasure of wearing many hats, but “wife and mom” are the ones that mean the most to me. My husband Colby and I have been happily and adventurously married for over 19 years without a dull moment. Our daughter and my podcast co-host, Journey brings unmatched wit and spunk to our three -strand cord of AHmazingness. Now don’t get it twisted, we’re far from perfect but we’ve learned to value and treat life like the priceless gift that it is, finding joy in every moment and loving each other to the moon and back! 

Realizing that I’m not the only woman wearing multiple hats in the abyss of overwhelming busyness, I’m stirring up and dishing out my secret sauce to living with intention, embracing happiness and finding joy in all of of the little spaces in between. Over the years, I’ve created and implemented practical tools and systems enabling me to win at home and in business. My book and street smarts have landed me as guest on the TheStir.com, Essence.com, Ebony.com, BlackAmericaWeb.com, WJLA-TV, NBC4 in Washington, DC, and now I’m giving it all to you!  Why?  Because I just can’t keep all of this goodness to myself and I looove to share!

Maturity and experience have taught me that life gets better when you learn to tap into your calm, listen to your voice, and lead with your heart. It doesn’t mean you no longer experience all the chaos that life brings. It just means you know how to access your inner calm to quiet the noise. It also means that you take the necessary action to remove anything that negatively affects your life, causes you stress, or just isn’t working for you anymore. 1. Set boundaries
Setting healthy boundaries helps you protect your physical, mental, and emotional well-being and prevent feelings of resentment, anger, and burnout.

2. Avoid toxic people
Whether it’s your partner, your friend, or your boss, a toxic relationship can drain your energy and suck the life out of you. 

3. Know when to leave
Sometimes we put so much effort into a thing we feel we have to see it through and make it work no matter the cost. But when that effort comes with stress, anxiety, depression, and guilt, it’s time to move on. 

4. Ignore the opinions of others
Approval-seeking can cause you to prioritize the opinions of others over your own wants and needs. Set yourself free by letting go of anyone else’s expectations of you and focus on the only opinion that matters—yours!

5. Get more rest
Every woman I know is exhausted! With so much on our plates, getting a good night’s sleep can be challenging. When you make sleep a priority, it will benefit your overall health, leaving you feeling awake and refreshed throughout the day.
