This version of my pear cobbler is more cakey than crusty but just as good. Hereโ€™s the recipe...
 
Ingredients:
๐Ÿ8 ripe pears
๐Ÿ1.5 cups flour
๐Ÿ1cup sugar
๐Ÿ4 teaspoons baking powder
๐Ÿ1.5 cups milk
๐Ÿ1 teaspoon vanilla flavor
๐Ÿ6 tablespoons butter
๐ŸNutmeg, cinnamon, and ground ginger to taste
๐ŸPinch of salt
 
Directions:
-Peel and slice the pears then add them to a bowl and toss them with nutmeg, cinnamon, ground ginger, honey, and vanilla.
-Add the butter to a baking dish and melt in oven.
-In another bowl add the flour, sugar, baking powder and milk. Mix until combined. Then pour the batter evenly over melted butter. Do not stir! 
-Pour the pears evenly over the batter. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes until golden brown. 
-Serve warm and top with your favorite ice cream!
